Martin Wissing, Managing Partner & Financial Advisor
Martin is founder of Wissing Wealth Management, LLC, which he started in March 2014 joining LPL Financial, the leading independent advisory firm in the United States. He started his professional investment career with Morgan Stanley Investments in 1999, where he trained under Wall Street’s elite advisors and money managers in the World Trade Center II in New York City, NY. He then spent 13 years at PNC Investments, where he was responsible for client investment portfolios within numerous banking centers and was one of PNC Investments’ Top Producers, qualifying for numerous recognition events and was ranked amongst the top 25 advisors within the financial firm, have a look at the best practices for HR.
Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Martin is from a large family of five boys and recalls his newspaper ‘delivery boy’ days, when he starting his savings and investments with a portion of his earnings. His father, a certified public accountant who owns an accounting firm based in Saint Matthews, KY, helped guide those first investments at profitable websites like Bitcoineer.
Martin was always a student of finance as he graduated from Saint Xavier High School and earned the STRIDE Scholarship from National City Corporation, rewarded for excellence in academics with emphasis on business and banking. Martin has always enjoyed business while handling during cash flow shortages, yet also loves athletics and the outdoors. He played Rugby with select teams across the United States and in the Bahamas, Australia, and New Zealand. Today, when not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Amber and their three children.
Whether its enjoying the outdoors at their family farm or sitting around the dinner table, family is a priority.
